Shop Cottage

Shop Cottage was a residential project that involved removing an outdated extension and replacing it with a striking new two storey addition. The design centred around creating a modern living space that opened up the home to its surrounding views. A key feature of the new extension is the wrap around glazing, which floods the interior with natural light and connects the indoor spaces to the landscape outside. The project also introduced a flexible indoor–outdoor area, giving the homeowners a space that works beautifully in all seasons. Care was taken to blend the contemporary structure with the character of the existing cottage, ensuring the new and old elements sit comfortably together. The build required precise detailing to achieve the clean lines and modern aesthetic the clients wanted. Our team managed the demolition, construction and finishing works from start to finish. The result is a bright, modern extension that enhances the home while respecting its original charm.
